To get started, log in to your AudioMaze Portal account at portal.audiomaze.com and click the New Release button in the top right corner.
Step 1: Album Info
Complete all fields on the 1. Album sheet. Accurate metadata ensures your release is approved quickly and displays correctly on stores.
Album Format: Select the appropriate format based on track count and length:
Single: 1 or 2 tracks.
EP: 3 to 6 tracks (total running time under 30 minutes).
Full Album: 7 or more tracks (total running time over 30 minutes).
Version: Use this field only if this release is a different version than the original (e.g., Remix, Live, Acoustic, Deluxe Edition). Leave blank if it is the standard original version.
Artists and Contributors:
Select the specific role for each artist or collaborator.
Every release must feature at least one Main Artist.
Crucial Rule: If your release is a Single, the artist information entered here on the Album page must exactly match the information entered later at the track level.
Label: Select your label name from the dropdown menu.
Digital Release Date: The exact date you want your music to go live on streaming platforms.
Original Release Date: The date the album was originally released. This is only relevant for back-catalog, remasters, or re-issues. If this is a brand-new release, leave this field blank.
Genre & Secondary Genre: Choose the primary genre that best fits your sound, and a secondary genre to help platform algorithms categorize your music correctly.
Copyright (©): Enter the name of the person or entity that owns the exclusive rights to the underlying work, preceded by the year ownership was established (e.g., 2026 AudioMaze Records).
Production / Publishing (℗): Enter the holder of the sound recording rights (the master rights), preceded by the year the recording was finalized.
UPC Code: The unique product code used to track album sales and distribution. If you do not have a UPC code, leave this field blank and AudioMaze will automatically assign one to your release for free.
Catalog Number: Your internal code to identify this release within your own catalog (e.g., DISC001). You can use letters, numbers, or a combination. If you leave this blank, we will automatically generate one for you.
Your artwork must meet strict platform specifications to be accepted by DSPs. Upload your imagery matching the following criteria:
Dimensions: Minimum size of 3000x3000 pixels and a maximum size of 4500x4500 pixels (must be a perfect square).
File Format: Only JPG or JPEG files are accepted.
File Size: The image file must not exceed 18MB.
Once all fields are filled, click Next.
Step 2: Tracks
Upload and configure the individual audio files for your release.
Upload Audio: Drag and drop your audio files directly into the upload box, or click the box to browse your computer.
From Catalog: If you are re-using a track that is already distributed in your AudioMaze catalog, click "From Catalog" to select it.
Track Metadata: Complete all mandatory fields for every uploaded track. Ensure track titles do not include track numbers or artist names.
Language: Select correct track language from the list, if there are no lyrics select “Without Lyrics”.
When you select a language you also need to add the “Lyricist” information to the metadata.
Explicit content: You must check the Explicit Content box if the song lyrics refer to drugs, violence, sex, or any strong language.
Step 3: Release & Distribution
Specify exactly where your music should travel.
Select the specific stores (DSPs like Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, etc.) and the territories (worldwide or specific regions) where you want your release to be available.
Step 4: Revision & Submission
Double-check your work before sending it to the team.
Review all release information on the summary screen to ensure there are no spelling mistakes or metadata mismatches.
Click the All set: Submit button. Your release will immediately be sent to the AudioMaze Quality Assurance (QA)
📧 What happens next? We will deliver your release to the DSPs following a final review. If our QA team detects any metadata or formatting issues that require your attention, we will notify you immediately via email to fix them.
⚠️ Critical Rules for a Smooth Release
Strict Field Accuracy: Enter only what is explicitly asked for in each field. For example, in the "Track Name" or "Album Name" fields, do not include track numbers, the Main Artist name, or Featuring Artist names.
Rights & Licensing: You may only distribute music for which you own 100% of the rights or hold the appropriate, verified third-party licenses.
The 6-Week Lead Time: We strongly recommend uploading and distributing your releases at least 6 weeks in advance of your target Digital Release Date. This guarantees enough time for quality control, delivery, and pitching to official editorial playlists.
Support Hours: AudioMaze does not process store deliveries or handle customer service requests on Saturdays and Sundays. Plan your submissions accordingly.
