Before you head into the Release Portal, make sure you have all your files and data ready. Having these prepared will make your submission process take less than 10 minutes and ensure no delays in your distribution.
1. Audio Files
We only accept high-quality masters for distribution to ensure the best listener experience.
Format: WAV or FLAC only. (MP3s are not accepted for distribution).
Sample Rate: Minimum 44.1 kHz.
Bit Depth: 16-bit or 24-bit.
Naming: Clearly label your files: 01_TrackName_ArtistName.wav
2. Cover Art
Streaming platforms are very strict about artwork. If these specs aren't met, your release may be rejected.
Dimensions: Minimum 3000 x 3000 pixels (Perfect Square).
Format: JPG.
Resolution: 300 dpi.
Content: No blurry images, no social media handles, and no store logos. The text must match your release metadata exactly.
3. Metadata & Information
Accuracy is vital for correct royalties and searchability.
Official Artist Name: Ensure spelling and casing are consistent.
Release Title: Include Subtitle or Version (e.g., Live at..., Remix, Edit) if applicable.
ISRC & UPC Codes: If you have your own, have them ready. If not, AudioMaze will generate these for you.
Songwriter Credits: Legal names of all composers and lyricists.
Publisher Info: If you are signed to a publisher, have their name ready.
4. Marketing Assets (The "Pitching" Pack)
To help us support your release effectively, have these extra assets in a cloud folder (Google Drive/Dropbox):
Press Photos: High-resolution vertical and horizontal shots.
Artist Bio: A short (one-paragaph) and long version.
Lyrics: Clean text files (required for Musixmatch/Instagram lyrics).
Canvas Video: A 3-8 second vertical loop for Spotify (9:16 ratio).
Timeline Reminder
To ensure your music is live on all platforms on time and available for editorial pitching (Spotify for Artists), you must submit your assets via the portal at least 4 to 6 weeks before your release date.
