To join the AudioMaze Ad Network, your Meta accounts need to be configured for professional use. If you’re seeing errors or aren’t sure if you’re set up correctly, check these common fixes.
1. How do I know if I have a Business or Creator account?
Go to your Instagram profile, tap the three lines (Menu) > Settings and Privacy.
If you see "Professional Tools and Controls," you are all set.
If you see "Account Type," you may still be on a Personal account. Switch to Professional (Creator or Business)to enable advertising.
2. My Instagram is connected, but why can't I see my Facebook Page?
This is the most common issue. Usually, the "connection" exists on Instagram but not on the Facebook side.
The Fix: Go to your Facebook Page on a desktop. Go to Settings > Linked Accounts > Instagram. If it asks you to "Review Connection," follow the prompts to re-authenticate.
3. I get an error saying "You do not have permission."
Meta requires you to be an Admin of the Facebook Page, not just an "Editor" or "Moderator."
The Fix: Ensure you have Full Control via Facebook Business Suite (now called Meta Business Suite). If someone else created the page for you years ago, they may need to grant you "Owner" status.
4. Do I need to pay for this?
No. Joining the AudioMaze Ad Network is free. While you may choose to put a budget behind specific ads later, connecting your accounts to the network costs nothing and simply allows us to share audience data and optimization tools.
5. Why does it keep asking me for a "Business Manager"?
Meta often forces users to create a "Business Account" to house their Pages and Ad Accounts.
The Fix: If prompted, follow the steps to create a Meta Business Account. It acts as an umbrella for your professional identity, separate from your personal profile.
6. I’ve accepted the invite, what happens next?
Once you accept the invite from AudioMaze, our team performs a technical audit. If your connection is "healthy," you’ll see a confirmation. If there’s a break in the link, we’ll reach out with a specific fix.
Still Stuck? Meta updates their interface constantly. If your screen doesn't match the descriptions above, take a screenshot of the error and send it to our support team. We've seen it all.
